Prerequisites

Device and hardware requirements

• A phone with Android 4.0.4 or later and network capabilities.
• An NXP FRDM-K64F board with an SD card and DAPLink version 0244 or higher.
• A USB cable.
• A USB OTG on-the-go (OTG) cable (USB Type B to micro-USB).

Working environment requirements

• Operating systems: Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04.

• A Device Management account with the secure device access feature activated.

• For the SDA client:

  • Python 2.7.
  • Mbed CLI.

• For the SDA SDK:

  • JDK 1.8 or later.
  • Android SDK 26, minimum supported API level 22 (5.1 Lollipop). If you are using Windows, you can download the latest Android Studio and SDK.

  Note: After you install Android Studio, open it to complete the installation of the SDK and license agreement. To complete the installation, select File > Settings > Appearance & Behavior > System Settings > Android SDK, and install Android 8.0 (API level 26).
